We have three kinds of accommodation in the Lodge: Deluxe Double Rooms, Deluxe Bunk Rooms and Lodge Bunk Rooms. See the Surf lodge page for details of the Lodge Bunk rooms.

Double Rooms

We offer 4 luxurious double rooms; two with awesome sea views and the other two with the views but its more of a neck stretch out of the bay windows.. All of these rooms offer full luxury and privacy with their own Freesat and Freeview 32" LCD TVs and a Blu-ray player is available on request. We provide you with quality towels and bathrobes and complimentary bottled water and shortbread biscuits. Each room also has seating so that you can sit and read at will. We are also happy to accommodate babies in all these rooms if you have your own travel cot. Each room is different and are described below:

Mavericks (a reef break in North California) - Mavericks is on the ground floor of Baggy Lodge and offers a view up the beach with a bit of a neck stretch through the bay window. The room has a King size bed, a double leather couch, a large bay window seat, oak floors, a Persian rug and oak furniture. Mavericks is fitted with a Freesat and Freeview 32" LCD TV and a Blu-ray player is available on request. The room also benefits from a luxurious en-suite wet room with wet access from the surf store.

Sunset (the reef break off the North Sore of Oahu ) - Sunset is on the ground floor of Baggy Lodge and offers a view up the beach with a bit of a neck stretch through the bay window. The room has a King size bed, a double leather couch, a large bay window seat, oak floors, a Persian rug and oak furniture. The room also benefits from a luxurious en-suite wet room with wet access from the surf store. Sunset is fitted with a Freesat and Freeview 32" LCD TV and a Blu-ray player is available on request. The room also has an interconnecting door into the Teahupoo room if you come with a large group and want to share the space.

Oysters (the offshore reef break at Croyde) - Oysters is situated on the first floor of Baggy Lodge and offers uninterrupted views across the bay and is the prime spot for watching the famous Croyde Low Tide Surf Break. The room has a Super King size Four Poster bed, a large bay window seat, carpeted floors, and oak furniture. The room also benefits from a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a large shower and a double ended bath. Oysters is fitted with a Freesat and Freeview 32" LCD TV and a Blu-ray player is available on request.

Jardim Do Mar (a reef break in the south of Madeira) - Jardim Do Mar is on the second floor of Baggy Lodge and offers awesome views across the bay, up the beach and out to see from its elevated balcony window. The room has a King size bed, a desk, built in cupboards and an oak floor. The room also benefits from a luxurious en-suite wet room. Jardim Do Mar is fitted with a Freesat and Freeview 32" LCD TV and a Blu-ray player is available on request.

Luxury Bunks

Teahupoo (the awesome reef break off Tahiti) - Teauphoo is on the ground floor of Baggy Lodge. The room has three double 3 foot bunks, a slate floor and oak furniture. The room also benefits from a luxurious en-suite wet room.

Bondi (a beach break near Sydney Australia) - Bondi is situated in the garden of Baggy Lodge and benefits from an elevated position and from the garden commands spectacular views across the whole bay and out to sea. With a triple height bunk, Bondi is compact, cosy and very functional with each bunk having its own cubby-hole storage and individual reading lights and power points for phones, laptops, etc. You will have use of the famous wet room with 2 indoor showers and one hot outdoor shower.

Snapper Rocks (a point break on the Gold Coast of Australia) - Snapper Rocks is situated in the garden of Baggy Lodge and benefits from an elevated position and from the garden commands spectacular views across the whole bay and out to sea. With a triple height bunk, Snapper Rocks is compact, cosy and very functional with each bunk having its own cubby-hole storage and individual reading lights and power points for phones, laptops, etc. You will have use of the famous wet room with 2 indoor showers and one hot outdoor shower.

Breakfast & Lounge

Breakfast is served in the Breakfast Lounge in the Café where you can help yourself to complementary cereal and toast at breakfast time and tea and coffee and anytime. If you would like anything cooked for breakfast you can always order it from our Café. The lounge has a large table with church pews on either side and a couch area where you can recline and watch movies or TV on our 40 inch LCD TV. Free WiFi is available throughout.

Communal Areas

Café/Conservatory - All our guests in the Bed and Breakfast area are welcome to use our conservatory with Freesat and Freeview 32" LCD TV and a Blu-ray player is available on request, a large comfy coach, large tables and patio area.

Kitchenette - Breakfast (Cereal and Toast) is available between 6am and 11 am in our Kitchenette along with Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate at anytime. Also available for your convenience is a microwave, fridge and recycling boxes. Sorry we do not allow for self catering.
