Wed 10th...2ft surf with the odd bigger set as it pushes up from low tide this morning. Lovely crisp clean lines, fun surf with light north easterly offshore winds first thing. The wind is expected to remain blowing from a favourable north easterly offshore direction increasing a little later  today. Update 1000hrs...3ft sets, moderate north easterly offshore winds, good fun surf.

Enjoy your surf, stay safe. There are no lifeguards on the beaches until Easter 2010. If you're not sure about the conditions, ask for advice! Ask for advice in the surf, or surf hire shops, also check out the surf schools. If you see someone in difficulty in the sea or on the beach dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
