We have two kinds of accommodation in the Lodge: Double Rooms and Bunks

Double Rooms

We offer 4 double rooms, two with awesome sea views at Baggy's Too and two with a much more cottage feel in the original Baggy Lodge. All of these rooms offer that little bit of extra luxury and privacy with their own freeview LCD TVs and DVD Players. We provide you with quality linen towels and bathrobes, with complimentary bottled water and shortbread biscuits. Each room also has seating so that you can sit and read at will. We are happy to accommodate babies in all these rooms if you have your own travel cot. Each room is different and are described below:

Oysters (the offshore reef break at Croyde) – Oysters is situated on the ground floor of Baggy's Too and is our most popular room and offers a double aspect view out to sea and across the beach through its full length windows reaching up from the floor. The patio door opens out onto a shared balcony that surrounds the same two aspects so that you can feel that sea air blowing through your hair. This room benefits from an extra single bed if required to make it into a family room. The bathroom is across the corridor, but the room has its own private sink.

Sunset (the reef break off the North Sore of Oahu ) – Sunset is situated on the first floor of Baggy's Too and has the same double aspect view of Oysters - out to sea and across the beach, but the room and windows are a little smaller. The bathroom is next door, but the room has its own private sink.

Santa Catarina (an island surf break off the coast of Brazil) – Santa Catarina is situated on the first floor of Baggy Lodge and offers a fantastic sea view from your bed. The room has a lovely cottage feel and is in a quite location. The bathroom is next door, but the room has its own private sink.

Malibu (a beach break in Southern California) – Malibu is situated on the first floor of Baggy Lodge and offers a view up the beach with a bit of a neck stretch. Like Malibu it has a wonderful cottage feel and will allow you to rest quietly. The bathroom is at the end of the corridor.

Lodge Bunks

We have 24 bunks in 4 rooms. Three are at Baggy's Too and one is in the garden of Baggy Lodge. All bunks have good quality bedding and 3 foot mattresses. You will need to bring your own towels though. Each room has 6 bunks and wardrobes, some cubby hole storage and some seating. If you book less than all six bunks you may be sharing with others; however, we always try to put different groups in separate rooms wherever possible. Individuals are allocated specific bunks. Each room is different and are described below:

Impossibles (a reef break off Bali, Indonesia) – Impossibles is situated on the ground floor of Baggy's Too and is our largest and most popular bunk room. The room offers a triple aspect view out to sea and across the beach through its full length windows. The patio door opens out onto a shared balcony that surrounds the same two aspects so that you can feel that sea air blowing through your hair. The bedding is arranged in three double bunks each with their own bedside light. The bathroom is across the corridor, but the room has its own private sink.

Cribba (a reef break off Newquay, Cornwall) – Cribba is situated on the ground floor of Baggy's Too. The room offers a stunning view out to sea and across the beach. The bedding is arranged in three double bunks each with their own bedside light. The bathroom is across the corridor, but the room has its own private sink.

Teahupoo (the awesome reef break off Tahiti) – Teahupoo is situated on the first floor of Baggy’s Too. The room offers a stunning view out to sea and across the beach. The bedding is arranged in three double bunks each with their own bedside light. The bathroom is at the end of the corridor and a separate toilet is opposite, but the room has its own private sink.

Bondi (a beach break near Sydney Australia) – Bondi is situated in the garden of Baggy Lodge and benefits from an elevated position and from the garden commands spectacular views across the whole bay and out to sea. You will have a small share kitchenette and wash sink as well as the famous wet room with 2 indoor showers and one hot outdoor shower.

Breakfast & Lounge

Breakfast is served in the Breakfast Lounge in the Café where you can help yourself to complementary cereal and toast at breakfast time and tea and coffee and anytime. If you would like anything cooked for breakfast you can always order it from our Café. The lounge has a large table with church pews on either side and a couch area where you can recline and watch movies or TV on our 40 inch LCD TV. Free WiFi is available throughout Baggy's and we can even rent you a laptop if you haven't brought yours.
